The NFL Draft begins tonight at 8pm in Cleveland with the first round. The Pittsburgh Steelers have the 24th overall selection tonight. Rounds two and three are Friday. Rounds four through seven will be held Saturday.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been able to retain all 22 starters from their Super Bowl-winning squad from last season – including former Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, who has agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $6.25 million – over $3 million guaranteed. Brown had 45 catches for 483 yards and four scores in eight regular season games last year for Tampa Bay. He had eight catches for 81 yards and two touchdowns in the post-season.
The Denver Broncos acquired quarterback Teddy Bridgewater from the Carolina Panthers Wednesday. Denver sent a sixth-round draft pick in this weekend’s draft to Carolina.
