Slippery Rock linebacker Teddy Gregory, Jr. was named the PSAC-West Defensive Player of the Week after he had a career-high 15 tackles in The Rock’s overtime win over Shepherd. He had the most important tackle late in regulation when he stopped a Rams running back for no gain on a fourth-and-one, to allow the Rock offense back on the field. Slippery Rock drove for a touchdown to force the overtime.
