Although we’re expecting dry weather Thursday, the county could see over an inch of rain that begins Thursday night.
That wet weather is seemingly in line for what has been typical over the last two years.
Official data from the National Weather Service shows that the Pittsburgh area saw 52.45 inches of rain in 2019. That’s the third wettest year on record.
2018 is still the wettest year in Pittsburgh history , when the area saw 57.83 inches of rain.
