The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has announced that 2024 saw record high gaming revenue.
Thanks to a 25 percent increase in iGaming revenue, overall gambling revenue crossed over the $6 billion-mark last year.
The nearly 8 percent increase from 2023 brought the state $2.6 billion in tax revenue, eclipsing the previous high of $2.4 billion in 2023.
Nine of the last ten years Pennsylvania has seen gambling revenue increase. The only year it did not was 2020.
