A second worker at a Cranberry day care center is facing charges for allegedly abusing a young child.
38-year-old Richa Gupte was charged by police after allegedly breaking the elbow of a two-year-old child at Allie Alligator Learning Center.
Police say the girl was reaching for a toy when Gupte grabbed her arm forcefully, which led to a left elbow fracture.
The charges come about a month after 26-year-old Joshua Brandstetter pushed a three-year-old face into a bed frame during naptime at Allie Alligator.
Both have preliminary hearings set for next month.
