A race this weekend will benefit athletic programs at Butler County Community College.
The third Pioneer Pursuit is set for Saturday morning at BC3’s main campus. It includes a 5K and one-mile walk on the Shaffer Walking Trail, which loops around the campus as well as a 100-meter dash for kids.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. Saturday, with over 30 BC3 student-athletes volunteering to assist with races beginning at 10 a.m. The day will also include a free breakfast from Chick-fil-A along with a medal presentation for top finishers around 11:30 a.m.
Registration is $35 for adults and $15 for kids including a Pioneer Pursuit T-shirt. Those interested can learn more at BC3’s website.
