Voters from four counties cast ballots on Tuesday to determine who will replace longtime State Senator Don White (R-41), who announced his retirement earlier this year.
The race for the 41 District had Republican Joe Pittman facing Democrat Susan Boser. The 41st District contains parts of Butler and Westmoreland counties; and then all of Armstrong and Indiana counties.
Pittman has served as White’s chief of staff. Boser is a political science professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
