A man from Prospect is in jail after he was allegedly found passed out behind the wheel of a car.
Joshua Sunday, 36, was arrested Friday.
State Police were called to the intersection of Oneida Valley and Pine Tract roads in Center Township about 8:15 p.m. following a report that a man was passed out in his vehicle with a needle in his arm.
Police say they found Sunday in possession of both heroin and hypodermic needles. He did not need to be revived with the anti-overdose drug Narcan and refused medical treatment, according to a criminal complaint.
“(Sunday) was under the influence of heroin. (I viewed) a hypodermic needle on the ground beside the driver’s side door,” according to the complaint.
During a search of Sunday’s vehicle, police allegedly found 19 full stamp bags of heroin, 20 empty stamp bags and two hypodermic needles.
Sunday was also found to be on state parole.
He was arrested and placed in the Butler County Prison.
