The Butler Area School District still plans on holding its first day of school on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
Students were supposed to be back in class last week, although transportation issues resulted in the 1st day of school being pushed back.
The issue required new transportation cards to be printed. They are expected to be available in each school’s office as well as on the Tyler parent portal. Parents should have received an email or text message when the cards were ready for pick-up.
The district was expected to be open at the admin building this morning only (Monday) for critical transportation issues and information.
