The Pittsburgh Penguins drought in Boston continues after the Bruins earned a 4-1 victory last night. Sidney Crosby scored 24 seconds into the game, but the Bruins scored four unanswered goals for the win.
Neither team managed a goal on seven power plays in the game. The Pens went 0-for-3. Tristan Jarry stopped 26 of 29 shots on goal. The Bruins scored a late empty-net goal. The loss snapped the Pens four-game winning streak.
The Pens have not won in Boston since December 2015.
The Pens visit Detroit tonight for a 7:30pm face-off. Pre-game on WISR is 7pm.
The Pens host the Bruins Sunday at PPG Paints Arena. Face-off is 12:30pm. WISR pre-game begins at noon.
