The Democratic Party has selected a Center Township man to be their candidate for the upcoming special election in the 8th legislative district.
Phil Heasley will be the Democratic nominee on the ballot for the March 17th election. Heasley is a graduate of Butler High School and currently manages his family-run business, the Butler Gymnastic Club.
The seat was vacated by former State Represenative Tedd Nesbit, who was elected to the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas last year.
