The Armco Credit Union is finalizing plans to construct a new building on Route 228.
Adams Township Supervisors gave their approval earlier this week for the new construction on the corner of Route 228 and Myoma Road. The building will be about a quarter mile away from their current location.
Marketing Manager Michele Jurysta says in addition to all their regular services, the bank will also have a unique community feature.
“We’re building a community room and it will be open to any organization in the Mars area, free of charge,” Jurysta said.
She said the credit union hope the building is complete by mid-December.
