A New Castle man has been indicted on charges of violating federal gun and drug laws.
Department of Justice officials say 31-year-old Samuel Cheeks illegally possessed firearms and ammunition back in 2017. He had previously been convicted a year earlier and wasn’t allowed to have guns.
Authorities also found cocaine on Cheeks during their investigation.
He faces up to ten years in prison and a possible fine of $250,000.
