A renovation project to an office in the Butler County Courthouse led crews to discover asbestos in the floor tiles.
County Commissioners approved an $11,000 project last week to remove the asbestos tiles from a few offices on the first floor of the courthouse.
Maintenance crews accidentally found the asbestos while removing old carpeting.
