An early Saturday morning crash in Slippery Rock led to DUI charges for an Oil City man.
Police say 20-year-old Demarco Francis was speeding on Kiester Road just before 1 a.m. Saturday when he blew through a stop sign at the intersection with Harmony Road, and hit a car driven by 23-year-old Samantha Bauer.
Francis’ car then hit a utility pole and flipped onto its roof. He was taken to the Grove City Medical Center for minor injuries.
Police later arrested Francis for driving under the influence.
