A portion of Kittanning Pike in Parker Township was shut down this morning because of an accident.
The one vehicle crash happened around 7:45 a.m.—about a mile north of Bruin.
EMS crews were called to the scene to assist at least one person who suffered injuries.
Dispatchers say the southbound lane of Kittanning Pike by Bear Creek was a sheet of ice, which prompted crews to shut down the road until it could be treated.
