A candidate for Congress in the 17th District has dropped out of the race.
Jesse Vodvarka withdrew his name from the Republican primary after a legal challenge was made to his nominating petitions, according to Politics PA.
That now leaves Sean Parnell as the only candidate on the Republican ballot—setting up a general election faceoff against current Democratic Congressman Conor Lamb.
Parnell has been endorsed by the Butler County GOP committee and President Donald Trump.
The 17th District represents a portion southern Butler County in Cranberry Township.
