A popular Cranberry Township event has been postponed due to concerns about coronavirus.
CranFest had originally been scheduled to be held in April, however the decision has been made to postpone this event until an undetermined date in the fall.
In order to maintain a comfortable, safe, and interactive environment, organizers have chosen to follow advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that large gatherings should be canceled in order to help prevent the spread of the virus.
In several months, there should be better clarity about the impact of the virus and it could even subside. This postponement will also allow for several major projects to be completed in and around the Cranberry Township Municipal Center including the Library MakerSpace.
