Two Butler bowlers qualified for the Pennsylvania State Bowling Tournament Friday at North Versailles lanes.
The top 12 bowlers from both the boys and girls qualify for the state tournament. On the boys side, Chris Huff qualified third out of 78 bowlers. He lost in the semifinal championship roll-off to Freeports Mark Livingston 235-180. For the girls, Rachael Blose finished 9th overall out of 89 bowlers. She lost in the four-bowler championship round to Plum’s Shannon Small 190-169.
Both boys and girls teams will compete in the regional event today at North Versailles. The Pennsylvania State Singles Championship are next Friday at North Versailles.
