The Butler Area School District is continuing with classes as usual according the Superintendent Dr. Brian White.
He sent a letter to parents last night saying the district has not received any recommendation to close the school due to the coronavirus.
The district is working on a contingency plan should it be need—White said they are currently finding out how many families have access to internet.
The district says for parents to keep their child home from school if they are sick.
The district has decided to postpone the 7th grade trip to Gettysburg which will now take place June 16th and 17th. Additional details, deadlines, and information will be made available from Logan Tours in the near future.
