Concerns surrounding the coronavirus continue to take tolls on Wall Street.
Stocks plummeted nearly 3,000 points yesterday—one of the worst days for the markets.
Local financial advisor Howie Pentony says when it comes to personal financial decisions, it depends on the individual.
“We’ll work our way through this, but this is not fun and games right now,” Pentony said. “People are afraid. Some are doing silly things and some are buckling down. It depends on your personal situation, whether or not there’s something you can do.”
Pentony says the American economy was strong prior to the coronavirus pandemic, suggesting that once good news starts to emerge, it could correct the markets.
