Pennsylvania’s top law enforcement official is unveiling a new consumer relief initiative to help residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Attorney General Josh Shapiro has launched PA CARE Package to create a partnership with banks and financial institutions to provide economic assistance to those impacted by this ongoing crisis.
The state’s largest bank, PNC has already signed on to this initiative which will expand small and medium business loan availability as well as create a 90 day grace period for mortgages and other loans.
The initiative also creates a 90 window for relief from fees such as late and overdraft charges, a moratorium on evictions, foreclosures, and vehicle repossessions, and no adverse credit reporting for taking advantage of consumer loan relief.
Anyone seeking more information about this program should visit the Attorney General’s website.
