According to the latest information from the state’s Department of Health, there are now over 24,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Pennsylvania.
As of Monday, Butler County has 143 confirmed cases and now four reported deaths from COVID-19.
There’s been a decline in hospitalizations at Butler Memorial Hospital. Officials say the hospital is treating 10 patients for coronavirus symptoms, with two people in the ICU as of Monday afternoon.
Butler Health System says their supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) is adequate at this time, but is still accepting and encouraging donations.
