Many people across the state are stepping up efforts to support healthcare professionals, and that’s happening right here in Butler County too.
There are two initiatives being led by Dr. Stu Surkosky of Care Chiropractic. The “Helping the Hospital” Initiative is a coordinated effort that delivers lunch to hospital workers every Thursday.
The second program is the Community Health Protection Initiative which aims to help supply protective masks to healthcare workers.
Dr. Stu says there are multiple ways for people to get involved.
“We created a GoFundMe account to help pay for the materials,” Surkosky said. “The materials are very hard to come by so we needed to create a fund to have that to be able to access the materials and purchase them.”
The link to the GoFundMe can be found here.
