Butler Memorial Hospital is currently treating seven people for COVID-19 symptoms, with one person currently in the ICU.
That’s a decline of four patients from Saturday.
Butler Health System officials confirmed that one person died last Friday at their Clarion Hospital location due to COVID-19 symptoms. That was the first reported death due to the coronavirus in Clarion County.
BHS officials say that they’re awaiting clarity and guidelines from the state, including the PA Department of Health, on guidelines and directives regarding the reopening of services.
