One of the items expected to be discussed when the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission meets today is the significant drop in traffic on the toll road since the state’s stay at home order went into effect in the middle of March.
That has already resulted in the loss of millions of dollars in toll revenue, and officials are expecting even greater losses in April.
It’s unknown just how the significant revenue loss will affect future turnpike operations or construction work.
