Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 have risen at Butler Memorial Hospital over the past few days.
Officials say they are currently treating eight patients for COVID-19, with one person in the ICU. That’s up six patients from Wednesday.
Three new COVID-19 cases were announced for Butler County, bringing the total to 202.
Meanwhile across the state, there are now more than 60,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases. However, today marked five consecutive days under 1,000 new cases statewide.
The number of negative tests in the state is approaching 260,000.
The death toll is now at 4,342—up 124 from yesterday.
