Butler County is laying out the timeline for a phased reopening of Alameda Park.
The county’s park and recreation department says that pavilion rentals, dog parks and restrooms will open May 30th.
Summer camps are scheduled to start June 8th.
The waterpark is tentatively going to open July 1st, but those plans are subject to CDC and PA Department of Health guidance.
All playgrounds however are closed until further notice.
The county said via a press release that the Lions shelter and sidewalk construction projects were delayed because of COVID-19; vehicle traffic to these areas will be restricted, which includes the Jade’s Dog Park parking lot.
County officials says more information regarding summer camps and the waterpark will be available in the coming weeks. They also note that the park status is subject to change.
