The Butler County Government Center will soon be undergoing a redesign.
Late last month the commissioners approved the preparation of a master plan for redesigning the county offices.
Commissioner Leslie Osche says the redesign will hopefully make it easier for county residents.
“The prothontary, clerk of courts, the sheriff’s office for gun permits are the offices where you really have a lot of traffic moving,” Osche said. “They have to go up to the third floor, across the ramp, down the stairs to get what they need. Moving them into the first floor area makes the most sense so you can limit the foot traffic.”
