Just over 400 new COVID-19 cases were announced across the state by the Department of Health on Wednesday.
Butler County saw one new positive case—bringing the local total to 250. As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, one person is continuing to receive treatment for COVID-19 at Butler Memorial Hospital and that person is in the ICU.
The statewide death toll from COVID-19 rose to 6,062. About 7,000 negative tests were also reported, now putting that total over 466,000.
Butler Health System plans to modify visitation restrictions beginning Thursday, June 11th with specific details available to come. The policy requiring masks at BHS facilities will continue to be maintained.
