Multiple people were seriously injured as a result of a collision between a truck and a motorcycle on Route 8 North Tuesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 4:30 p.m. for the crash near the intersection with Mahood Road.
Crews from Unionville were among those responding to the scene to find two people on the road. Two medical transport helicopters were immediately called to land near the Unionville Fire Station. An additional ambulance was called to treat a young child.
A portion of Route 8 North between Sunset and Benbrook Roads needed to be shutdown and traffic delayed while crews remained at that scene.
