Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported for Butler County today, bringing the total to 273.
Statewide there were 510 new cases reported, along with 38 new deaths due to the coronavirus.
Just a day after reporting 45 new cases—Allegheny County is reporting 19 new positive tests today.
State Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine says people still need to be taking the proper precautions.
“Measures like masks, social distancing, hand washing, and hand sanitizing is the new normal,” Levine said. “For the time being we need to limit large gatherings of 250 people or more because this virus is not gone.”
The state Department of Health also reported that we are nearing 600,000 negative tests.
