State police, EMS and a medical helicopter were called to the scene of a one vehicle crash in Sandy Creek Twp., Mercer County Saturday morning.
According to the police report, 35-year-old Malissa Russell of Conneaut Lake, PA lost control of her vehicle around 9:30 a.m. while traveling north on route 19 and crossed over into oncoming traffic. She went off of the opposite side of the roadway and struck several trees before rolling the vehicle onto its roof on the roadway.
Russell was flown from the scene by Life Force EMS to Meadville Medical Center to treat suspected serious injuries.
