The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed their first 2020 draft pick when pass-rusher Alex Highsmith signed his four-year rookie contract. Highsmith was a compensatory pick in the third round of April’s NFL Draft from Charlotte.
Maryland running back Anthony McFarland posted a picture on social media of him signing his contract last night.
The NFL Players Association officially agreed to the NFL’s plan to drop all preseason games yesterday – the union also agreed to an 80-player roster limit for training camp, instead of the usual 90. This will limit opportunites for some of the fringe players who excel during the preseason to make a team.
