Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township has reopened after an accident resulted in a partial closure Friday morning.
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. near milemarker 92—which is in between the Zelienople and Portersville exits.
Officials say a car was driving southbound when it collided with a tractor trailer sending the vehicle over the median into the other lane.
One woman was flown to an area trauma center for her injuries but her condition is unknown at this time.
Crews spent some time on the scene cleaning and sweeping the road and State Police staged a reenactment as part of their investigation before the road was reopened shortly after noon.
