The state Department of Health has reported 12 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County Thursday. That brings the total to 707 for the county.
Over the past day 302 negative tests were also reported resulting in a positivity rate of just under four percent for Butler County. The state is reporting that 16 Butler County residents have died as a result of COVID-19.
Statewide, there were 991 additional positive cases, bringing the statewide total to 122,121 with 24 additional deaths.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Wednesday morning three patients were being treated for coronavirus at Butler Memorial Hospital with one in the ICU.
