Governor Tom Wolf is expressing his support for mail-in ballots prior to this year’s election.
“If you look at the COVID-19 pandemic, the safest way to vote is to vote from home, so you don’t have to go and stand in long lines,” Wolf said.
Wolf also said that state officials are looking to extend the mail-in deadline by three days.
Pennsylvania allowed mail-in ballots a part of an election reform package that was signed into law earlier this year. The bill gives PA residents a 50 day mail-in period.
