Renovations to the Harrisville Borough Park could be coming quicker than anticipated.
County commissioners approved a measure that will move leftover funds from a project to renovate sewer laterals in Mercer Township to the Harrisville Park project.
The renovations will focus on creating a handicap accessible sidewalk that will go all the way around the park. Originally, the project was going to built in three phases, but nearly $100,000 in leftover funds will help speed up the process.
