NASCAR announced Thursday they will not grant COVID-19 relief to any driver who would have a positive coronavirus test during the playoffs. A positive test will eliminate that driver from the post-season competition. Seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson missed the playoffs in part because he missed a regular-season race after a positive test.
