Two more Butler County school districts head back to class today.
Mars and Freeport students have their first day of school. And of course, it’s not business as usual, as new safety protocols will be in place.
“If you walk through our buildings, especially our high school and middle school, you’ll see chairs and tables in locations where there typically haven’t been tables and chairs in the past,” Mars Superintendent Dr. Mark Gross said. “So we’re utilizing spaces, beyond the cafeterias.”
In addition to efforts to keep socially distant, masks are required of students in schools as well.
