Butler Area School District has modified their policy for spectators based on a recent federal court decision.
Following the ruling against the guidelines imposed by the administration of Governor Tom Wolf, the district will permit a limited number of spectators at this Friday’s home football game.
Band and cheerleaders will be allowed to perform at the game and each student involved as either a player or performer will receive two event spectator tickets for family members or friends.
No general admission or other student tickets will be made available. Facial coverings will still be required for all event spectators and those planning to attend are asked to complete the district’s at home wellness check available through the district’s website.
