Cranberry Township’s Emergency Medical Service has been honored by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the Bureau of EMS, and the Pennsylvania Emergency Health Services Council.
The local organization was recently named the 2020 Pennsylvania Small EMS Agency of the Year over more than 1,200 similarly sized EMS agencies across the state.
Last year Cranberry Township EMS responded to over 4,000 calls for service in the communities of Cranberry and Seven Fields in Butler County as well as New Sewickley Township in Beaver County.
In addition, Cranberry Township EMS has trained over 380 people in both certified and hands-only CPR along with nearly 260 people assisted with child car seat instillations.
