There were five new cases of COVID-19 reported for Butler County Monday.
And with Monday’s new cases and 20 over the weekend, the county’s total case count since mid-March has surpassed 1,000.
However, according to the state Department of Health, the county’s seven day positivity rate is at 3.3 percent, which is down from last Monday.
Hospitalizations have also declined. As of this morning, Butler Memorial Hospital is treating one patient for the coronavirus, with no one in the ICU. That’s down from five patients on Friday.
