The City of Butler Shade Tree Commission wants to help residents replace trees that were lost due to storm damage this summer.
According to Chairperson Diane Smith, the Commission is offering a $200 subsidy towards the replacement of street trees.
In order to qualify, the trees must have been listed on the Commission’s street tree inventory conducted last year. The tree must also have not been identified as a hazardous tree.
For more information about if a particular damaged tree qualifies for a replacement subsidy, contact the City of Butler Shade Tree Hotline at 724-209-8899.
