Freeport High School football will not be playing tonight after one of their coaches tested positive for COVID-19.
District officials say this will not have any impact on classes, but the football team has stopped practicing since learning of the test Wednesday.
They also say that next week’s game against East Allegheny will probably be canceled, although nothing is official.
