With Governor’s Wolf request for a stay of his order implementing crowd restrictions being allowed, that means local school districts are revising their plans for attendance at Friday night’s football games.
The Butler Area School District tells our newsroom that the marching band will not be performing at the game in order to comply with the Governor’s restrictions.
Cheerleaders and a limited number of parents however will be allowed to attend. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Meanwhile, the Mars School District is traveling to Armstrong High School Friday, and athletic officials say no Mars parents will be allowed in to watch the game in-person.
