There were seven new COVID-19 cases reported Monday for Butler County.
Today’s report comes with 98 negative tests, giving the daily update a 6.7 percent positivity rate.
According to the state Department of Health’s weekly early warning dashboard that’s updated every Monday, the county has seen a slight increase in the overall positivity rate—coming in a 3.1 percent. Which is still in the “low transmission” category outlined by the CDC.
As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital is treating one patient for the coronavirus, with no one in the ICU.
Overall, the state reported 624 new cases, 11 new deaths, and about 9,000 negative tests.
