A portion of Route 422 in Summit Township has reopened following a closure Thursday morning due to down wires.
Dispatchers say wires were brought down near the intersection of Route 422 and Game Reserve Road around 9:30 Thursday morning.
The closure extended from Moran Road to Old Route 422 with emergency responders on scene for traffic control until around 12:30 p.m.
It’s unclear what caused the wires to come down but work by power company crews could continue into the evening. No outages are currently being reported.
