The Varsity Boys Soccer team at North Catholic in Cranberry Township will quarantine for two weeks after potential exposure to coronavirus in a recent match.
The Diocese of Pittsburgh made the decision that all 27 people involved with quarantine for 14 days in accordance with protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the PA Department of Health.
There are no reports of anyone on the team feeling ill at this time and local health authorities do not believe the facility needs to be closed.
Affected student athletes will continue to attend classes online through the two weeks in quarantine.
