The North Catholic Girls defeated Bedford 2-0 last night in the 2A semifinals. Jayden Sharpless scored the game-winning goal in the second half of the game. Tori Michalski scored an insurance goal. The Trojanettes reach the state championship game for their first time in school history. North Catholic (15-2-1) will meet Bloomsburg (22-1) Saturday at 11am.
Girls Volleyball:
–North Catholic lost to Philipsburg-Osceola 3-1 in the PIAA semifinals last night. The Trojanettes season ends at 19-1.
